What do toilet installation services include?
Toilet installation includes all services that allow you to have a fully functioning toilet. These will consist of installing most types of toilets for residential use. The service covers most general plumbers’ tasks, such as toilet tank installation and toilet drain installation. Taskers can even fit new toilet seats if needed and perform other services such as:
Removing your old toilet
Your Tasker can assist you in removing an old toilet before proceeding with the toilet plumbing installation process. They will first have to switch off the water and flush out any remaining water in the tank. Your Tasker also disconnects it from the water pipe. Once all that is done, they’ll unscrew all the bolts holding your toilet to the floor and detach it. Of course, they’ll be covering the soil pipe to minimize odors and prevent any harmful fumes from coming out of it. Ask your Tasker if they can also help you in disposing or recycling your old toilet.Â
Installing your new toilet
Whether you’re installing a new toilet for a brand new house or renovating your bathroom, your Taskers have quite the task ahead of them. They will need to do some measurements for regular toilets and fancier wall hung toilets, especially on the drill holes. Once that’s done, they fasten your toilet in place.
Â
Once your toilet bowl is installed and secure, they’ll install your toilet tank and connect it to the water supply. For wall-hung toilets, the water tank is not visible as it is installed behind the wall. This makes your bathroom look posh. All that is left is to test it out. Your Tasker just needs to turn on the water and make an inaugural flush. If there are no visible leaks, then the job’s done. You now have a new throne!
Fitting a new toilet seat
A new toilet won’t be complete without installing a new toilet seat. Whatever toilet you use, be sure you have the correct measurements to match your newly installed toilet. However, you may disregard this if your new toilet already includes a seat. Otherwise, ensure your seat is compatible with your new toilet. All toilet seats come with instructions from the manufacturer, which should make things easy for your Tasker.Â
