Repair or replace broken awning motor

The balustrade posts on my roof terrace don’t seem to have a solid fixing. The screws don’t actually fix into any wood etc - they just go into a void (i checked with a coat hanger and there is nothing underneath for at least 300mm) I would like someone to propose a fixing method any quote to do the work. Qualified personnel will be prioritised. There are approximately 11 balustrade posts so around 44 fixings. See photos attached.

We have a cavity in between a wall and fireplace that we would like to turn into a wardrobe.
