Electrical & plumbing
When you hire a tradie to work with electricity, gas, or water, they’ll need special qualifications, training, and equipment to keep you and your house safe from fires, flooding, and property damage. You’d need to hire an electrician to install your new light fittings or electrical equipment, like ovens. Carpentry & cabinet making
Tradesmen are usually qualified professionals, so they’re ideally suited to tasks that need a higher skill level than a handyman. Carpenters and cabinet makers are in high demand for installing new cabinets, custom-making furniture and installing built-in robes and cupboards. I have 3 IKEA Ivar cabinets (80cm wide each) that I need help securely mounting to drywall in my kitchen. There are studs in the walls, but since I want to be able to put cookware into the cupboards an anchor in between studs might be necessary as well. The cabinets are fully assembled; photos are references for the finished look I’m after. Ideally you will have suitable screws and anchors already; I am happy to help during the installation process!

Below are the two tasks. My estimate is $150 for completing both of them. However, you can share your offer for a single task if you want. 1. Hang large mirror on hallway plasterboard wall. Refer to dimensions and pictures below along with instructions. Rubber plugs and screws to be supplied by you. No wires. Simply fix the metal cleat (provided) on the wall, and hang the mirror. The second metal cleat is already attached to the mirror. Height (cm): 200 Width (cm): 100 Mirror weight (kg): 30 2. Attach the window awning canopy on the outside brick wall. The canopy measurement is given in the picture. Nuts and bolts are already supplied with the product.
