Looking for a VERY EXPERIENCED wait staff to attend to a private home party of 30 guests. Duties include general waiting duties, preparing drinks, welcoming guests, loading/unloading dishwasher and keeping things neat and organised.

Looking for bar and wait staff for my wedding on Saturday, 21 December 2024. Hours are roughly 2.30pm-10.30pm (may vary by one hour) Looking for three people in total: two bar staff and one floor runner to support bar staff and clear tables. Please see more information below. Tasks would involve; - 2x people manning the bar table by pouring wine (mostly cork screw wine) and handing out beers and seltzer cans to guests - 1x person to collect empty glasses from tables and stack in venue dish washer - 1x person to keep water jugs filled up - 1x person to restock bar table with drinks (from venue fridge or outside chiller) and glasses (from kitchen) - 2x people to collect dinner plates from tables once guests are finished eating and stacking in the venue dish washer (approx. 100 guests). Note, we are having a grazing table for dinner so the only wait service required is collecting plates once people have finished eating. Please feel free to message for more info! :)

6pm - 12am (party starts at 7pm) I need to hire a waiter/assistant for a Halloween themed house party I’m hosting. Basically to serve the drinks, tidy as we go and help me keep on top of hosting. For serving drinks: Nothing fancy serving wise, nothing to shake or blend, just pouring just like vodka with a mixer.. maybe aperol spritz (but I’ll have the pour instructions) top up wine, collect empties and clean glasses as we go. Serving food: all food is just nibbles, so to top up the chips when the bowl when it’s is empty and top up charcuterie board aetc. I might do an Uber eats of pizza or something hot (I can’t cook) and just cleaning up/taking rubbish out etc. Other help: answering the door when you hear it (it’s odd and annoying - my friends will probably just text me anyway), maybe putting batteries in the decorations if they run out, putting fog liquid in the machine when it’s died and that’s basically it. I’m expecting anywhere from 10 to 50 people and they will not expect you to serve on them, they can make their own drinks and look after themselves but if it’s quiet you could offer some of my drinks but mostly keep things tidy in the as we go which would be a weight off my shoulders! I would ofcourse take you through everything before hand and you can come enjoy a drinks as well and be part of it if you like. I’m a very chill person lol, just worried about hosting as last time I got overwhelmed and couldn’t enjoy myself as I kept having to do odd things. I live in Port Melbourne and my house is a 3min walk from the 109 tram stop or there is free all day parking out the front.

If you have hospo experience or you’re simply just a champagne bottle-popping expert with an RSA who knows how to work a crowd, we need your help for a 30th birthday celebration where the theme is *FANCY*. For just over 4 hours we’re looking for someone who can hand guests champagne on arrival, check guests off at the door before of the venue as they enter, doing little tidies and keep the drinks topped up through the night. We’ll have around 50 guests, a single open-plan room where the event will be held and will require your help from 4:30-9pm.
