I just got a new washing machine and when I’m trying to fit the cold water pipe plug into the tap it’s not getting tighten because the tap is too close to the wall. The tap has to be loosens up like 1-2 circles so it gets bit away from the wall. Note: I have easily tightened the hot water plug. It just that the tap needs to loosen up a bit so it moves away from the wall so the white plug can rotate to tighten.

Washing machine was serviced 4 years ago for just maintenance so don’t think it’s an issue with washing machine, but it’s shrinking all our clothes! We put it on cold, but I think it is running hot water. Need someone to check installation and fix.
