Ariston washing machine is locked and won't open. Seems like the handle is broken. Emergency open tab isn't working either. Need someone who can open it up (take lid off?) so I can get our clothes out. No water in machine, as the cycle hadn't started. Help, please!

Have recently purchased a washing machine and had it installed by the seller. I was informed the pipes might be too small and this could cause issues. The very first load I washed the washing machine was making a vibrating noise, and not spinning. After it finished, there was a pool of water in the drum and clothes were soaking wet. I need a second opinion on whether the drainage pipe is to small as he suggested, or whether there is actually a fault with the product itself.
