I have an Electrolux front loader washing machine that seems to be leaking water from somewhere beneath, not profusely but in drips. It's been doing this for awhile and we feel it should be rectified before it worsens. Not urgent but would be good to be fixed before the year ends.

I have just returned to my apartment where someone was subletting, only to find the washing machine is flooded and not draining. My front loader is leaving the washing smelling bad. I've run a washing machine cleaner through it a couple of times - the first load seemed fine afterwards, but the load after that seemed to be problematic again. I've checked the manual and it advises to clear the filter - however the filter is jammed and I cannot open it.
