I have just returned to my apartment where someone was subletting, only to find the washing machine is flooded and not draining. It’s also making a strange noise when or if I try to put it on a drain cycle. I assume it will be a somewhat easy fix, but since I am in the mix of packing up my apartment (need to move out in a week) it would be great to get it to drain, and have the ability to use it before the move. My front loader is leaving the washing smelling bad. I've run a washing machine cleaner through it a couple of times - the first load seemed fine afterwards, but the load after that seemed to be problematic again. I've checked the manual and it advises to clear the filter - however the filter is jammed and I cannot open it.
