The job includes: • Removing and disposing of the old hot water heater. • Installing the new Rinnai B26 continuous flow water heater. • Connecting to the existing 30mm gas pipeline, which extends to approximately 1 meter from the current heater. • Ensuring the unit is properly installed with all connections secure and compliant with safety standards. • Performing functionality and safety checks. Additional Information: • There is an outdoor power outlet near the installation site. • The gas pipeline width is 30mm, which might affect installation requirements. Requirements: • Experience with continuous flow hot water heater installations. • Must provide your own tools for installation. Location: Blackburn South. I need this done as soon as possible. Two Rheem 50L Water Heaters were fitted as part of a Home Reno (under Kitchen Cabinet). (with tempering valves, PRVs, mildred etc) Some of the flared fitting have started leaking (at flare joint connections) and the original plumber isn't responding. I don't trust the workmanship and would like the flared fittings replaced (i.e. new copper). There is no Kitchen bench top providing access from both top and side. Licensed Plumbers only.

After 3 weeks without use my continuous gas water heater has stopped working. It sounds like the unit is attempting to start up and heat up the water with gas flowing but shuts off after a short amount of time probably due to safety mechanism. Suspected likely the igniter is faulty. I have had this issue before when the unit was not used for 3 months. But after a few days it seemed to “magically” fix itself. I should also note that the electrical outlet has been recently replaced and others have been used to test. Also gas is burning on the stove.
