We need a new hook hinge installed on an existing widow. We have the hinge we just need help fixing it to the window properly. I have a video of what I mean please contact me for it!

The are 3 wooden top hung windows - 1 downstairs in the dining room and 2 upstairs in the rear bedroom. (1) The winding mechanism to open and close the windows may need repairs or replacements. (2)The bottom edge of the window panels may need to be adjusted or shaved as it's scraping the window sill causing jamming and straining the winding mechanism. (3)One of the vertical sliding internal window may need adjustment as the swivelling lock doesn't engage properly. Work has to be done neatly and shoes not worn in the house.

Hi, we need a tradesperson to repair a large awning window, whose two hinges we think need replacement. The arm on one has bent and so it can no longer close, the other has had a piece come off that ensures the window properly seals when shut. The window is on the second floor but there is level access on both sides, with the first level rooftop extending significantly further out then our floor. Attached is pictures of the bent hinge and window. Cost is negotiable.

We would like to install the window supplied into a section of our kitchen for more light. You will nee to supply everything other than the window, there is a Bowens and Bunnings nearby. There are kitchen cabinets above and below where we want it installed and two power points that will need moving across to fit it in. The external wall is a fibre cement extension we were told. We need it sealed and architraves externally. We will be tiling and using tile trim internally but needs to be sealed. We need a good handy person to install fly wire (and obtain fly wire from Bunnings or similar - we will pay for the materials) into double hung timber window frames. Victorian terrace house, about 3 frames (frames already done as pictured). The frames also need sanding and painting white (we will pay for the white paint). - Due date: Before Saturday, 20 January 2024

I have an existing timber window frame that appears to be in good condition, but it appears that the frame has moved inward on one side creating a 15-20mm gap between the frame and the wall all the way up one side. This appears to be letting in quite a bit of cold air and outside street noise. I'd like to have the window frame correctly aligned against the internal wall on both sides, and sealed up properly to stop transmission of air and noise. - Due date: Before Sunday, 21 May 2023

Window sill and trim needs to be replaced in Kensington. The board extends (about an equal distance) under window to the inside of living room i.e. appears to be one piece of wood. About a standard doors width I guess. - Due date: Before Saturday, 3 December 2022

We have both 130 year old double hung single glazed timber sashes as well as a double hung aluminium suite internally installed as a secondary glazing for heritage reasons for thermal and acoustic insulation. One of the timber sashes need the sills repaired. All timber and aluminium sashes need draught sealing. The aluminium system needs its spiral spring replaced. There are 20 windows, however I’d like to start with the 4 in our master bedroom and if it’s a job we’ll done the other 15 can be tended to as well. There is a gap between interior and exterior wall which looks like it used to be covered by a rubber protector which has aged and fallen loose and doesn't seem to do the required job anymore. Looking for someone to be able to either replace this rubber or use some sort of filler so water doesn't get into the wall cavity. See pictures. (Sorry some are on side as can't seem to rotate in this app). Possible that is just needs some sort of no gap filling? Not sure.
