I recently had a window kit/board cut for an aircon hose to fit into, as an exhaust when running a portable airconditioner. Id like another one made for another window. The existing window kit/board can be used as a template, the windows are similar sizes. A hole needs to be made in the board to fit the hose and then the hose fitting screwed into this. Lastly I have one addition job. I need a curtain rod screwed into a window pelmet.

Custom made window screen for portable aircon hose

I purchased a portable air conditioner, but the window kit does not fit my rented apartment window. I need someone to build a removable window screen- from plywood, fabric or plastic sheet to fit the hose to (hot air needs to escape from the airconditioner) and to stop heat from outside coming back in again. As I am renting and may use this screen in more than on room the "screen" needs to be fully removable. The window dimensions are 86.5cm width x 90 length. The inside of the flyscreen frame where the screen could possibly fit is 82cm width x 85.2cm length with a 1cm depth. I am happy for someone to visit and measure up first. The hose length is long enough to reach the bottom of the window and different window attachment can used to help seal the hose to the new "screen". Im offering $150 to do this job. - Due date: Before Saturday, 10 February 2024

Existing laundry window in coming away from the side of the house. This is due to severe weathering of outer weatherboards and wall frame which is rotten. Remove existing boards and expose wall frame. Replace rotten/damaged wall studs and/or noggins. Replace window and flash so water doesn't come in.
