We are new to our apartment and we suspect this door was never closed by previous owners. We want to be able to close it easily and quietly. Currently it closes, but it needs a silly amount of force and makes a loud noise. To us it seems the door is not square and is too closely touching the door jamb about 40cm below the door handle AND possibly at the lock plate as well. One of the hinges has come off the window in the top corner, there is a piece to reattach it, but I don't understand if something else is missing. I'm writing $5 in the budget not to be disrespectful, I just don't know how involved this is to fix, happy to negotiate of course :)
