My parents are getting older, my mum has been diagnosed with a brain disorder and my sister who has a disability lives at home with my parents so my Dad being the champion he is has been working very hard caring for the both of them. It has come at a cost though, he is becoming burnt out and we have noticed he is struggling with the maintenence of the house, espcially the garden. They recieve a lawn service and a cleaner through NDIS and My aged care which is helpful and my brother, hubby and I try to visit as much as we can to help with jobs that need doing. It is just hard when we have young children, run business' and live 1-2 hrs drive away. My parents are planning to down size so we need to start tackling jobs that need tp doing.
