Steven and his friend fixed my wooden residential perimeter fence that was rotten and leaning. His quote was the lowest, and this included a new support post. Other quotes were higher without including a new post. The guys were friendly, very efficient, had all of the required tools and cleaned up the left over soil etc. Job well done. The fence is now fixed and perfectly straight again. The ETA blew out by 3 hours which was frustrating.

Taking measurements
Your wood fence installation begins by discussing the size and location of your wood fence with your hired Tasker. After you specify your needs and where you want the wood fence, your hired wood fence builder takes all the necessary measurements. They can place your wood fence anywhere on your property, as long as its placement complies with rules set by your state and your local council. Â Â
Procuring materials for wood fencing
Upon request, some Taskers can get all the needed materials for constructing and installing your timber fence, from the type of wood fence panels you need to the sealants needed for the job. They can put up a fence in the style you want and get all the posts, timber frame and timber panels.Â
Your hired Tasker can also cut any parts of the timber fence down to size if necessary. If your hired builder has to cut timber on-site, you may want to hire a separate service to clean up. Â
Installing the posts and assembling the panels
Your hired builder can dig holes in your backyard to install the posts for the wood fence. They can ensure that the holes are deep enough and are uniform in depth before burying the posts. Before burying the posts, your Tasker can ensure that the posts are level and of equal length. Once they're placed in the holes, they apply a partial filling of concrete to each hole

8.5m length of wooden paling fencing required. Due to previous handyman who injured himself elsewhere and is unable to finish the job, the frame is already up and metal gate frame is hung. Just needs to be finished off with palings and nail gun. * Need palings supplied. * Between rails is roughly 65cm (some slight variation), narrows down to 25cm at the tricky bit over stairwell roof. * Distance between posts is variable, there’s a 1m, 1.65m, 2.20m and 2.4m from left to right. * Gate gap is 97cm. * Overall desired height is top of gate + a bit, which would be 2m palings. * with variable paling lengths required due to garden bed and narrowing of length at stairwell roof, some paling cutting is obviously required and do not need 8.5m of 2m palings across the entire width of fence. The wooden fence between my property and the neighbours has a large gap. During the flood of 2022, the water storage tank came loose and knocked out a few metres of fencing between the properties, so I want to fill this gap which will need the fixing of 1 new upright post and the two wooden fence panels. It's a pretty clean job and for any carpenter or landscaper should be straight forward.
