I've been struggling with my online retail fashion store for a while now in regards to my Google Merchant Centre Account and Google Ads. I've had my account suspended due to 'misrepresentation'. I haven't been able to run Google Shopping Ads since starting, and in the ecommerce retail fashion industry, it's crucial. I have narrowed down the reasons for my GMC suspension, and I believe that it comes down to my product data in GMC. Perhaps the product data is not being properly entered in the backend of my Shopify store. This is what Google is interpreting as 'misrepresentation', because they cannot see the custom fields such as 'returnpolicy' or 'shippingpolicy' as a custom label on Google backend. Therefore it's misrepresentation of my business, even though I have it in the description on the frontend of the website. I believe that with the right help, someone will be able to configure the product data, and metafields on the backend, so that it appears correctly on Google Merchant Centre. Right now, I have shipping policy/return policy in the description on the backend. But I believe that it would be better if I had it as a metafield, or as custom labels in the backend of Shopify for Google to recognise. Getting my account reinstated on GMC means I can run Shopping Ads and Google Ads. This is incredibly important for my business. I have very few products and very few SKU's, so the job will not take long. It's more-so sorting the product data and getting things in place correctly. Successfully entering my product data, will result in $400 payment. Since I'm confident that product data is the key factor for my suspension, a bonus $600 will be awarded for the reinstatement of my Google Merchant Centre Account. This job then equals $1000 cash. This could easily be an hour's work for someone who knows what they're doing in regards to backend web development and product data on Shopify backend. $1000/hour sounds pretty good to me.
