Car battery replacement services usually include several steps. First, your car is towed to the garage. Mechanics then remove the old, damaged or non-working car battery. New battery installation
Mechanics can put in your new battery while following best practices. Once the old battery is removed, they clean the battery terminals and clamps to prevent grounding, decreased conductivity or other issues. The mechanic uses a wire brush, baking soda and water to clean out the terminals and clamps, removing dirt, corrosion, or residue. After installing the new battery, the mechanic tests it by starting up your car, activating the wipers, radio, or other electronic accessories.
Old battery disposal
This is another service that your mechanic can do for you, as you cannot toss old car batteries in the rubbish bin. Old batteries have dangerous chemicals that pose a serious health hazard. The mechanic can take your old battery to a recycling centre or treatment facility. Be sure to list this as part of your service, unless you already have a recycling centre or garage in mind to take the old battery.
Car battery purchase

Have just purchased a 2010 Jayco expander. That has an old AMG battery in it, want it converted to lithium battery at a minimum. Has a 12 pin plug to be charged from car while driving so I imagine need a DCDC charger installed which suits lithium, also need a solar controller installed between the existing external Anderson plug and battery. If have ability in time frame a inverter that will connect and run the non-12 volt items. Budget is there but depends on what works will be complete.
