Need Someone who can have a look at a boat engine that won’t start. 2001 Bayliner bowrider, V6 mercruiser. On a trailer in Noosaville. Has been sitting for 18 months, and won’t start, I have replaced the battery but just makes a clicking sound and does not crank. Had a new starter motor and flywheel 2 years ago. Was working fine last time it was used. Need someone who can have a look and see what it needs. Marine mechanic or someone who knows boat motors.

I have a 2005 holden vz ute. Everyone i call says it will be cheaper to swap out the engine then to fix the problem. All I know is that cylinder #4 has low compression and isn't firing. I'm in the process of having a 2nd hand engine freighted to my house. I'd appreciate if someone can do the job as I don't have the time. So my father inlaw has a workshop in Noosa. There's hoists engine crane amongst everything you can imagine. We will be able to utilise it. I have had a few little set backs. I'd be looking at getting this started mid to late April at this stage. Apologies for the delay and no responses. But in March I will make contact with people interested in taking this on. I just want to get a few new things for the 2nd hand engine. Before installing Timing chains oil pump and a few other things. No use putting it in if it's not 100%. I like to do things right the 1st time.

Replace rear engine seal. I understand it is a high labour job requiring the removal of the transmission. Car can be driven but leaking oil.

I have recently had a service on my 2004 toyota hilux to try and remove the engine light. Mechanic said its 3 unrelated issues that are coming up on the scanner and probably just an error as the car runs fine. The light will not go away so I want to ensure its not an ongoing problem.

I've got a wr426 that I need some work done on. It was running a few weeks ago and now it seems the decompression valve is stuck open. I have a spare engine that could be used as a donor. After that I need to get the lights and indicators working.

I have the engine just need it installed will require accessories as well

Car was shaking when being driven. Found a cylinder was not firing. Fitted 4 new plugs, 4 new ignition coils but car when started for 30 seconds blue a load of smoke , out exhaust then died. One of the new ignition coils, smelled so I changed it but car had no power. Checked fuses, battery connections, new battery good but no power, even dash board Lights are out but have door lock, radio, windows, lights, aircon working. Needs a diagnostic tool as it’s now out of my comfort repair xone
