What do fan installers do?
Even if you know how to install ceiling fan wiring, the installation must be done by a licensed electrician to avoid the danger of electrocution. If you're having more than one fan installed on the same day, each additional ceiling fan installation will usually cost less than the first.

Ceiling fan replacement
If you're replacing an older ceiling fan or your room already has a ceiling outlet, the electrician can complete a like-for-like ceiling fan installation. This usually takes less than an hour and involves removing the existing fan, assembling and installing the new fan and connecting the wiring. You should also your installer whether they will dispose of the old fan or if you need to do this yourself.
New connection
If you don't already have a ceiling fan and there is not a suitable connection in the ceiling, this will need to be set up before your ceiling fan can be installed. I have a Mercator FC1108133WH ceiling fan that I'd like installed in place of an existing ceiling light. There is a challenge - the ceiling is plasterboard. Above the room is the roof of the building I live in. I don't know if it would be necessary or help, but tradies use my balcony to access to roof occasionally with a step ladder. I'm hoping there might be a method to brace/reinforce the mounting of the fan to the plasterboard with some kind of attachment to the roof above the plaster board, or by a brace connecting to the structure holding the plaster board in place. I need the work signed off/safety certificate.
