This old lino is very hard and almost like plastic. I’ve managed to get some of it up but I don’t have the energy or time to do the rest before my new floors go down. Underneath is a cardboard which has been tested and I must disclose has a small percentage of asbestos. Should you decide to take on this task I would recommend to wear protective mask. I have linoleum flooring glued to a previously tiled floor. I'm trying to remove the lino and glue from the original kitchen tiles. Needs heat and scraping. I'd be happy for the grey stuff/leveller to be removed and I can clean up any excess with acetone. The linoleum was put in about 5 years ago so the glue is rubbery and probably can't be sanded. - Due date: Before Sunday, 31 December 2023
