Hi, I need help repairing a wooden blind. I've of the vertical strings on one side has snapped and the blinds won't go down any more than in the photo.

Looking for a quick fix for a retractable roller blind with a spring mechanism inside. It was off the chain, I took it off and tried putting it back but then it lost its retractable mechanism. It now drops to the floor by its own weight. Finally gave up and need someone who knows the mechanism. Would need a part replacement.

Check measure a window and install a single roller blind 2-3 weeks later. Approx size 1675mm(W) x 1170mm(H).
