My car bonnet has been producing a little smoke and occasionally smells a bit like burning plastic. I suspect it could be an oil issue because the car temperature is fine. I have a drive up to Bright this weekend (3 and a half hours each way) and need to make sure I don't break down. Vhedia Head unit ( after market) and steering wheel controls lag .up to a minute. Turn the car off , eg at a service station and the vhedia unit can take up to 5 minutes to turn back on. Never got it working properly. I have a rear camera but never installed it. Ford Ranger 2015. Car can be at Hawthorn or Brighton.

The car has factory reverse parking sensors. I have a garage where the installation can be done onsite.
