**this is a request for a particular tasker** Have a large timber door that needs further inspection in order to come up with a cost effective repair solution for long term. I’ve made temporary repair by shaving areas where door is rubbing against jamb. I originally had an issue with door lock not locking as was just missing the strike plate by 2-3mm, decided not to work on door hinge side, it’s old style colonial large pin type and female pin piece is concreted into pillar, so instead fiddled with door jamb and dropped it slightly as it’s removable due to strike plate cables (door can be opened electrically from inside) this worked and door closed, it’s still good. Door is extremely heavy. Attached are photos of recent repair by shaving door and jamb a little. A first up 5 min phone call to quickly discuss, obviously work out a price if site visit necessary. Job is in Edgecliff. Can send further photos as necessary. Thank you.
