Device: INFINITY-V5-9R6-88 Gaming Laptop (5 years old) Specs: Intel i7, RTX 2060 6GB, 16GB RAM, 144Hz display Issue: Laptop randomly shuts off. Burning smell from the battery area when this happens. Troubleshooting Attempted: Without battery (using wall adapter only): Works for basic tasks (no crashes). Gaming performance drops significantly (lower FPS in intense games). With battery (new replacements tried): Laptop shuts off when plugged in. Batteries do not charge (noticed with both new batteries). Suspected Causes: Battery/power circuit damage: Burning smell suggests overheating or short circuits in the charging port, battery terminal, or motherboard. Power delivery issue: The laptop may rely on combined battery + adapter power for full gaming performance. Without the battery, the adapter alone can’t supply enough power. Faulty charging system: New batteries not charging points to a problem with the laptop’s internal charging circuit.

We are a small business located near Martin Place Station, Sydney CBD. We are seeking a reliable and professional IT support provider to assist with urgent setup for a new staff member. Needs onsite attendance and work. We currently have 5 laptops on Federated access to at least 4 of them using email addresses assigned to each staff member. There is one principal with administrator access and a locked down OneDrive folder with only administrator access. Everyone has an email address. All emails are via Outlook. There is a OneDrive and a SharePoint. There is a domain set up with VentraIP. Scope of Work: • Set up a brand new laptop (Windows OS) for one staff member. • Create and configure a Microsoft 365 user account, including Outlook email setup on an existing domain. • Set up secure login credentials, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) where possible. • Configure Federated Login (single sign-on) so the user can log into any compatible device. • Configure access to company SharePoint, mapped as a folder on the laptop for ease of access. • Configure OneDrive backup or another cloud backup solution for the device. • JoinComputer to Domain. • Migrate Old Cpanel Emails to Office365. Timeline: • Setup must be completed by close of business, Wednesday (currently Monday). Location: • Sydney CBD, a short walk from Martin Place Station (across the road from Metro entrance). How to Respond: Please provide a full quote covering all tasks listed above, including any optional services you recommend. The quote should be all-inclusive with no hidden or surprise costs. Experience with small business IT setups and Microsoft 365 environments is highly valued.
