We live in a decent sized townhouse with concrete/masonry floors that make it very hard for WiFi to penetrate, so there are several very weak WiFi zones. Attached is a floor plan with the location of the modem/router marked. The modem/router is a TP-LINK archer AX73. I would like to expand the WiFi network by hooking up an extension device on the top and bottom floors, and if possible also run an ethernet cable to the pc in the study (which is far from the router/modem). I have one TP-LINK wireless extender but that is not much use because there is no way to power it in the stairwell (where it can receive a decent signal). I feel like cables may need to run to extenders. Will need to budget for other extenders.

Can do remote. My pups chewed through my starlink 2 cable so I just arranged a gen 4 - didn’t realise this would need a new billing account as well - thought I could put it onto my normal billing account - but I did set up (and pay) for a ‘ROAMING’ account. I connected the Starlink and it was asking me to ‘connect to wifi’ - which I can’t do as my pups chewed through the cable - so the original gen 2 is not working … and it’s not registering this Starlink dish even though I have selected it??? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ I then connected a router adaptor from the gen 2 to the gen 4 - and that’s not registering either? I’m so frustrated as I have two Starlink accounts and can’t get my new gen 4 online? Can someone talk through what I’m doing wrong? Thanks so much! 🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨
