What does an Airbnb cleaning service include?
Every Airbnb accommodation is unique, whether it’s an extra room, a whole house, or even a caravan. So the services you’ll need will depend on the inclusions provided to your guests. In general, here’s what you can expect from your Airbnb cleaner:
Bathroom cleaning
Your cleaner will clean the toilet(s), wipe down the sink areas, and clean the shower(s). They’ll replace any toiletries and toilet paper provided and collect any dirty towels and bathmats for washing.
Kitchen cleaning
If your Airbnb accommodation includes a kitchen or kitchenette, your cleaner will sort this area out, too. They’ll stack or unpack the dishwasher, wipe down the benchtops, check all the cupboards and drawers to make sure everything is where it should be, and collect used tea towels to be washed. Lounge & bedroom cleaning
They’ll ensure all lounge room furniture and accessories are arranged perfectly, including your guest welcome pack and reading materials. Your cleaner will also remove used sheets and linens from the bedrooms, ready for washing.
Fresh linen
Your Airbnb cleaner will replace all used linen with fresh linen, including bath towels, bath mats, hand towels, face washers, tea towels, sheets, and pillowcases.
Airbnb management & handover
Some Airbnb cleaning services also include Airbnb management. This can involve everything from booking in new clients and communicating through the app (just like a holiday rental property manager) to handing over the keys and managing any enquiries. I am looking for someone to provide Airbnb turnovers whilst I am out of the country. There are multiple dates and I will need laundry to be included. The flat is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom flat with a living room. I usually clean the flat myself and it takes just over an hour to do. Turn over includes: • Taking images of the place as you find it so I can provide feedback to the guest • Change bed sheets and make bed • Change towels • Take rubbish out • Clean bathroom (vacuum and wash floor, toilet, sink, shower, glass) • Bedroom (Vacuum floor, wipe furniture surfaces, wipe mirror) • Living room (Vacuum floor, wipe furniture surfaces, water plant) • Kitchen (Wipe bench, make sure dishes from last guest are clean, general tidy) • Wash bedsheets and towels The key will be in a lockbox of which I will disclose the location of. Once done, the key will need to be returned to the lockbox As mentioned, I will need laundry done. The Possiblity for you to take dirty sheets and towels, wash them, and bring them back on your next visit would be great. Please confirm this is something you can do.
