Fridge Freezer Problem Description: I have a fridge freezer that’s been with us for over 10 years. Recently, it hasn’t been getting as cold as it used to, even though it’s set to the coldest settings. The freezer section is not freezing items as effectively, and the fridge is not maintaining its usual cool temperature. It still gets cold but not to the expected level. Based on the symptoms, I suspect that the refrigerant gas might be low or depleted, as the appliance is running but not cooling properly. The compressor seems to be working, and there are no unusual noises or error signals; however, the cooling performance is significantly reduced. We would need someone to come and check it out, particularly focusing on whether the refrigerant gas needs to be refilled or if there might be another underlying issue causing this lack of cooling efficiency.
