Alarm keeps going off on car because the light for the boot being open won’t go off. The boot of the car is closed, may be an issue with the latch actually clasping on. Other than the boot the door handle of the front passenger is hit and miss and would also like that looked at. Car is 2008 A3 Audi

Audi diesel, Transmission Control Unit located rear of CVT in front wheel drive. Have driveway where work can be done. Clean car underneath (and in general). Car needs jacking for access, rear cross member undone/slide out way, rear plate of gearbox removed (thus drained during this) and TCM removed. Will send away for ECU repair (3 days). Then needs refitting on its return. - Due date: Flexible
