Just 2 Venetian blinds to be fitted in my retirement flat .

Repair needed, blind fabric come out of roller.

Source and fit blinds for living room and bathroom. Living room has double doors, 113cm width, 175cm height. Bathroom window is 77cm width, 76cm height.

I have 3 sets of blinds that need 3.5cm sawing off each end including the metal headrail. A power tool might be needed.

The blind has tapes to make it look like shutters, 3 of the 5 have come apart at the top. The blind needs taking down, the tapes re-threaded and fixed together. I have done this myself on smaller blinds but this is quite a large blind and too heavy for me to do. The pelmet over the front of the blind needs removing first, the installer has put some filler on the top edge to neaten it but this will need a blade to run along it to release the pelmet first.

One of the blind needs a new chain and another one needs its chain to be moved from left to right.

I'm replacing a blind, and cannot remove one of the old brackets as the screw is immovable, and the head is also now stripped. I'm looking for help to remove the old screw and then install the new roller blind.
