So you’ve recently made the purchase, but you’re not sure how to install a vented tumble dryer. We know not everyone’s good with tools and machinery. At Airtasker, we got you covered. Preparing the installation site
The moment you plan to install a new dryer, it’s important that your installation site is ready. Your Tasker will ensure all the connections and, depending on the type of dryer, the proper exhausts or vents should be ready and safe to use. Should there be any issues with vents, exhausts or electrical systems before your installation, you may need to get a handyman to have these checked.Â
Preparing your new dryer
Dryer installation technicians could also help you unbox your dryer if needed and check if there are any defects or damages if you’re not familiar. They can also help you check if everything supposed to be in the box is all accounted for. If you have an existing dryer, you could also ask them to disconnect and tear it out for you if they can. Then they’re going to have it ready to complete your condenser or vented tumble dryer installation.
Connecting your appliance

I am looking for someone (possibly 2 people) to install a washer/dryer stacking kit on top of my existing washing machine and then install a tumble dryer on top. Sounds easy but its in a tight space and the weight of the dryer would mean it needs two people to lift and stack. Current washing machine is in a cupboard. You could potentially pull it out do the stacking and then slide both back in. Tumble dryer not yet purchased. Just seeing if anyone is able to help with this first. The shelves above the washing machine (see picture) would need to be removed and one of them replaced in a higher position as part of this job.
