The kitchen cabinets, wall and base units, plus laminate worktop, microwave, gas hob and sink all need removing and disposing of ready for a new kitchen. 2 roller blinds have no cords so need replacement ones , we are hand rolling them up and down. 1 blind has a cord that has lost a lot of its bobbles ( teeth?) so it slips when rolling and doesn’t roll all the way . A velux blind has come if it’s cord so doesn’t stay shut - Due date: Flexible

We have hipped, slate roof on our two-story 1920s brick house. We suspect that one corner has a leak, as the sofit is showing evidence of damage and the interior corner of the two rooms below it get mouldy. We are not aware of water dripping from the ceiling or in the roof space. There is some slight discolouration in an upstairs ceiling corner by a chimney breast, suggesting that the problem may relate to the flashing and/or the lead in the gutter next to it. Remove eight LED tubes, which are mounted on the underside of eye-level kitchen cabinets. The tubes are arranged in three runs, each of which has a controller. Replace the tubes similar fittings, of a sort that can be individually removed and replaced, should they fail. The light-emission system is not important, but economy of energy use is preferred. There are currently 6 x 600mm and 2 x 300mm tubes, all with a diameter of 20mm. Tubes of a similar size would be preferred.
