Hey, I am looking for someone to repair a Philips Ultra Wide Monitor Model 499P9. The monitor works fine but it seems the backlight in the centre of the screen is not working which is leaving the screen darker in the middle for about 4-6inches vertically. The screen itself works and no pixels seem faulty, just the brightness of the screen. Kef speakers model reference three-two. Although they work there is no ohm or continuity reading at the speaker terminals. There are readings at the speaker terminals going from the pcb to the speaker, so it's an issue with something on the pcb. They were in storage in a garage so I believe the damp has got to them.

Kitchen sink has fallen down as seen in the photo. Do you know how this happens and how to fix it?

I have bought 2 bronze barrel-style window stops to replace old ones, which now need screwing into a sash window frame. It should be straightforward. You can see from the photos we had to remove old ones because we lost the key so the new holes will go under the circles you see in the photos. It should involve drilling 2 holes and screwing the barrels into the frame so that the stopper can prevent the window from opening past a certain point. I’ve also included a photo of another window to show you what it will look like when complete. Thanks

My double sink needs new taps or needs repaired

Hi everyone, So long story short my pc is no longer turning on after there was an accident with the plug socket that ended up making a popping sound after trying to plug it back in! after this happened the pc has stopped turning on. I've tried replacing the power supply cable and that hasn't worked. Now purchasing a new psu thinking this is probably the cause of the problem but will need someone to help me replace it as not confident doing it alone! Happy to hear from others if they think there is another solution!

The right RCD won't stay up, even when all the circuit breakers are off. Earlier we disconnected an exterior lamp (and got an electric shock while doing so) as it's bracket was broken. We have an open wire where the light was ( we intend to get a new one) and I suspect this may be the problem with the RCD.

I need to hang 11 pictures up in 3 different areas of the house. These are a combination of small to medium pictures and need to be hung up with command hanging strips not to mess up the paint in the house.

Putting three IKEA Kleppstad together (x1: 2 Door & x2 3 Doors) & a Dreams Kids Bunk Bed.

2 wooden worktops to be fitted (approx 2.1m x 0.6 and 1.7m x 0.9 island). The new worktops have already been cut to size including holes for the sink and hob. I have a new replacement sink and tap to be fitted too. The tap is a weighted retractable hose head mixer. The new splashback needs cutting to size before replacing the old one. Worktops and splashback will need some silicon.

The taps in my kitchen and bathroom are very loose, and sometimes leak as a result. I need to get them tightened up and sealed, but I don’t have the tools / can’t get to them.
