I need to change the battery in a smoke alarm that is at the top of a vaulted ceiling. It's about 5m high in the middle of the room, so you will need a very tall A frame ladder that can be used without a wall to support it. The flat is also empty so there is nothing else to stand on / assist. I am pretty sure that it needs a 9 volt battery as I've changed another in the same room in the past, but if it can't be replaced immediately I just need to ensure that it stops beeping constantly while we sort out a replacement.

I have 3 fire alarms that keep beeping. I have changed the batteries but they keep doing the same sound. They either need to be cleaned or removed. One of them is hard to reach and a small ladder is necessary

I need to upgrade my current smoke alarm system to the HUSH-ACTIV BS 5839-6 Grade C Stand-Alone Domestic Fire Alarm Kit. I would need about 7 detectors 3 sounders and one control panel. There is already the necessary power supply in all the areas we would need to install the new alarms. This system doesn't need the red fire resistant cable. We currently have wired smoke detectors in each bedroom, landing, kitchen and living room. A BS 5839-6 installation certificate will be needed to be completed by the electrician

Hi, I have 4 fire alarms I need to put up on the ceiling in 4 rooms. It’s the type where they have a mounting disk which need screwing to the ceiling, and then they twist in. I have a step ladder, but please bring a good drill. Should be a v quick job I hope!

I need 3 motion sensors and 4 fire alarms removed from my flat. One is a communal fire alarm so I'm not sure how easily it can be removed, so this can be up for discussion as I don't have professional insight.
