Concrete Floors

Carpet

Floorboard installation starts with clearing the area before wooden struts are positioned to create a framework for the boards to sit on. At this point, you can choose to install soundproof insulation under your bamboo floorboards or timber floorboards to help reduce noise. Then your contractor will install your timber floorboards over the wooden struts. Once your new floor is installed, you can keep it looking it’s best with regular polishing and refinishing.
Tiled floors
Tiles are popular for bathroom flooring, or throughout the whole house for easy cleaning. Tile floor installation involves laying marble, stone, or ceramic tiles on the floor. When installing tiles, your flooring professional will usually first remove the existing flooring. This may require tools such as a jackhammer or a chisel and hammer to break up and lift the old tiles. Then they’ll prepare the area with adhesives and concrete, before laying the tiles. Once the adhesive has set, your tiler will apply grout in the gaps between each tile, creating a waterproof surface.
Laminate, vinyl & linoleum flooring
Getting your vinyl, linoleum, or laminate floors professionally installed usually starts with removing any old floor coverings and skirting boards. Laminate flooring is usually easy to remove but may require chemical solvents, depending on the adhesives used. Once the area is cleared, the floors will be levelled and prepared with any underlay and insulation required. At this stage, your flooring contractor may add in things like waterproofing or underfloor heating. Please provide a quote for the following, mention what is and what's not included in your quote below. Location: WD17 2PS. Also, provide your availability dates for 4,5,6 may. Attached: pictures for your reference 1. Replace laminate flooring for area of between 20-25 sq. m. I'll provide flooring and fibreboard underlay. I've removed the skirting boards and I'll add new ones myself later. The flooring is not bad but some bits are slightly uneven. 2. Replace Carpet on stairs. I'll buy the carpet and other material that you will suggest or you can buy and I'll pay for it. 3. One door lock latch plate needs to be installed on the door frame (needs a chisel and drill) 4. Two Ikea Kallax shelves (already assembled) to be mounted onto the closet wall (needs 8-12 screws on the wall). Plus add pull handles on two closets and drawers. 5. Two doors 35mm wide were trimmed a lil extra which needs some solution (maybe a strip on one side or something else) 6. 2 doors need to be trimmed (just a bit) and tied along with a door lock on one door and a pull handle on another. I've removed the old door and I've the hinges and screws.
Liam is very efficient and has all the necessary tools. He did a very nice job. Overall, a very good experience.
