New flooring to be laid in the downstairs of small maisonette home - 1x small box room, 1x landing area + staircase down to front door, 1x kitchen/lounge area. The whole area totals 39m2. Will need to remove and dispose of old flooring (carpet in box room & landing area, plus laminate in kitchen/lounge). In all areas except the staircase we will provide laminate flooring to lay. We live in the property so furniture will need to be moved. In particular we have an upright piano to work around. We will provide the flooring and underlay but if any other materials are required we will need to discuss. On the staircase, we need the grippers removed and the steps sanded & painted, ready for a carpet runner to be fitted down to the front door. Where the laminate flooring meets the top of the stairs we will need a nose piece attached.

There are 3 rooms and a corridor where laminate flooring needs to be replaced. It needs under layer to be fitted. Also the skirting boards need to be installed. There are 4 doors. (1m x 5m) + (1.3m x 1.2m) =corridor 4.6m x 4m =dining room 2.9m x 2.2m =small room 3.5m x 8m =living room Materials will be provided.

I want to do my lounge and hallway

I need engineered wood to be laid on the living room and the entrance lounge. Currently there is a carpet floor in the living room and acrylic tiles on the entrance lounge. These need to be removed and the wooden floor needs to be laid. Below are the approximate dimensions Living room : 16*20 feet Entry Lounge: 9.5 * 6 feet

Door to bathroom needs trimming and re hanging after tiling installed. Architrave needs fitting around door in bathroom (some trimming required). Skirting needs fitting in shower room (two walls). Skirting and architrave needs fitting in downstairs WC.

Fix/reinforce the stairs as they are a bit squeaky- accessible from underneath utilities area Prep the stairs- already removed old carpet underlay and all the staples!! need sanding/filling/painting/caulking to.make smooth especially around the edges of the steps that won't be covered by underlay/runners hence visible Install stair runners and rods (standard size, may need to be cut) I have grippers, underlay, runner, wood filler, caulk , small sanding tools, saw etc as originally planned to do ot myself but no time due to work and family situations but please let me know what else required or bring your tools Please don't offer if you don't have experiences in doing similar stair runner installation tasks before- won't respond Pls advise estimated time as I assume need time for the paint to dry up etc

I have purchased the hallway flooring it's vinyl. 7m x 2.5m Underlay is already in And have got contact spray already If job is done well I have 2 other rooms to do at the start of december

I need to have a straight two flights staircase fitted with carpet. A rough estimate of the carpet required for this size is not more than 4sqm.

I need the built in wardrobes removed from the bedroom, the walls to be re-plastered following this removal and the entire room re-painted. I’d also require the carpet to be removed and a replacement to be put down/ potentially new floorboards fitted depending on what we decide closer to the time.
