Guest left freezer door open, ice melted. Now freezer damaged

We've just purchased an American-style fridge freezer, however we are unable to move it to our desired location as the space we wish to do so is tight. We have done the necessary measurements and know if we remove the doors and the freezer cabinets, the appliance will be able to fit properly in the desired space. We would need the doors and cabinets placed back after moving the appliance.

The freezer door on my freezer does not seal shut properly and is building up ice - either the seal is no good or the magnet. The freezer is less than a year old. The fridge door above it works fine.
