The right hand door of my wardrobe recently fell towards me when I opened it. The top hinge has come away from the wardrobe but the bottom hinge is still attached. I would like both hinges replaced and maybe a third is needed to avoid this happening again as it is quite an old wardrobe. The wardrobe is made from solid wood but I don't know what type of wood or how hard the wood is. I would like this work to be done on Saturday 11th Jan ideally. Ive tried putting together a chestof drawers from B&Q but I think Ive made a mistake, the drawers are not closing properly. The wadrobe is from Wayfair and isn't suitable for my needs, I requested for soemone to assemble it but the doors are not even, the clothes rails are too low. I have a new clothes rail and need it installed and take out 3 shelves in the wardrobe. I would try and do this but I'm usless at DIY.

This is an Argos wardrobe that was made slightly wrong. Over time it became slightly slanted and then all of a sudden it looked like this. Summary Task: Wardrobe straightened out so that doors can slide open and shut properly. Detailed Task: Remove backing board, straighten out the sides of the wardrobe and secure the fitting, re-hammer the backing board once straightened and then re-hang doors. Plus re-fix/straighten the internal shelves and clothing rail. It may be worth physically inspecting first to understand the task at hand. Potential Issues: 1) Its in a pretty small room and some things might not be moveable. there is a small drinks fridge in front of the wardrobe. 2) The main ceiling light in the room does not work so any job would have to be done during daylight hours as you would not be able to do it without natural light. - Due date: Flexible
Metin arrived on time and communicated along the way if he would be running late. He got started straight away and understood the brief without further explanation, which was a relief for me as it meant I could carry on working. He got the job done in record time and cleared up any mess. Happy to use his services again
