It's a classic garage door with a wound spring on to with a mtal cable wound onto the end of the spring on end side and fixed to the bottom kf the door running on guides supporting the weight of the door when being opened and closed. Just needs a new cable after spring being retentioned

There is a leak that is coming into the garage and we think it’s from the seal around the edge. We have a new seal bought from Amazon, we just need it installing please so the seal is watertight. I’m no expert, but the internal surround may need sealing with a brush/filler?
