My garden is 18ft x 18ft. The grass tiles and decking tiles are 1ft square. Underneath the brown liner is the patio. The liner needs to go over the rest of the garden, then the sand and the tiles on top. The blue tarpaulin is just to block light to the weeds so they don’t grow back again.
