Weeding & pest control

We have a small back garden (approx. 3m x 6m). Most is paved over and the rest of the garden is a small garden shed and some raised flowerbeds. We have not looked after the plants in the flowerbeds to any great extent since we moved in two years ago. Initially we would like someone to help us understand what plants are there and how to look after them, and prune and clear the overgrown raised beds. Some weeds are growing both in the flowerbeds and through the paving slabs, and we'd like those to be dealt with. In due course we would probably want to add some grass or artificial grass over some of the paved area.
