There’s 4 trees in my garden that have caused damage to the boundary wall in my garden. This is potentially what you’d class as retaining wall based on soil height, but unsure. The council have been in touch asking me to resolve the issue of the wall being unsafe as it’s adjacent to a public footpath and bus stop. I’m looking to get some guidance on some options to resolve this. It likely may require a temporary solution to make the wall safe quickly as a more pressing issue, to allow time to remove the trees to then replace relevant amount of wall with a fence. Attached is the kind of fence I was thinking, but open to expertise.
