We would like to mount a 6'x4' whiteboard to this wall that has this stuff on the wall as pictured. To mount the whiteboard we require the TV mounting plate to be removed. Also the power sockets will need to be removed as they will prevent the whiteboard from sitting flush with the wall. The wall is an internal plasterboard wall in an office setting.

Sony Bravia KD-55XG8796 won't turn on. I have tried various different power sockets, I have tried the force reset of the TV as recommended on the Sony website, I have changed the fuse in the plug, I have removed the back of the TV to check for obvious damage. Googling and YouTube would suggest a failure somewhere on one of the boards. I'd rather fix the TV than buy a new one. - Due date: Flexible
