there are several issues - I have a 6 or 7 year old Panasonic 32inch TV with one tuner and a Pansonic DVD/HDD recorder with a tuner, connected by a SCART cable. I have had lots of problems with the scart loosening and am on the third cable. The recorder and TV also have HDMI slots, so i want to see if i can use them instead. However I moved the TV unit away from a window and since then cannot get the channels loaded on the TV tuner and am actually using the Recorder tuner to watch, which is fine but it is not easy because of the loose scart cable when switching on. I am now on the 3rd digital aerial booster. I think the TV might even have internet options but I need to sort out the channels. I am on the 4th floor of a block which is not overlooked so I can't work out why I have lost the booster aerial signal. I want to move away from the scart cable and get the TV working properly again, or decide whether I should go for a smart TV. - Due date: Flexible
