My Samsung combination microwave/convection oven model No. MC285TATCSQ/EU failed after it's light bulb fused, apparently blowing its mains i/p line fuse so that it no longer switches on when connected to the mains. I think that phase might have sorted to earth or neutral when the bulb fused as there was a bright flash from the oven and it tripped the rccb in my consumer unit and the bulb's glass envelope had expanded to melt the adjacent plastic structure, as shown in an attached photo. The bulb will also need to be replaced as well as e.g. the 240V i/p line fuse and perhaps the high voltage fuse. I see online that the parts for this oven are available at reasonable prices.
