Our old Panasonic NN-V681W inverter microwave runs for about 35 seconds then switches off and goes back to showing the clock. It doesn’t heat anything during this time but the turntable spins. It happens on timer modes as well as sensor. If it’s economical we would love to keep it going as the new ones don’t seem to last!
