To cut a long story short, the shower has stopped running water - according to the guy who caused the problem he turned the temperature knob too far and we think something inside may have come out of place, snapped or broke, now there’s no my enough water pressure coming out. He managed to get one off successfully, and for the others, he put in a solid effort but they were simply too difficult to budge (no fault of his own).
