Find an experienced local painter in London Honor Oak

We are having a runner laid on these stairs next week and we’re looking for someone to sand the varnish and paint them. Only 10-12 cm on either side of step will need to be sanded and painted (not the sides of the stairs just the step itself). Colour will be white and we can provide the paint.

I have just started painting my bedroom and lost the will to live and just don't trust I'm going to do a good job!!! I have the paint step ladders dust sheets, masked up the room, rollers etc (although not sure how good quality the rollers are). Please can someone do this for me today. 2 coats required. I need help to get this room's walls and ceiling prepared for painting, and painted with the same colour. My teenage son stuck these foam panels on randomly with spray glue and when taking them off they have left behind some foam stuck to the wall, might need heat applied like a hairdryer and scraping without ruining the walls.. then prepping and a coat or two of the same colours, white ceiling and same linen colour, paint supplied. Furniture can be moved out. I would like a firm price, not hourly rate.

Hi. I have several metres of unfinished oak stair nosing and edge profiles which will soon be installed on my stairs/house along with some finished flooring I recently bought. The flooring will be installed from the middle of next week. Since the wood is unfinished, I'd like them to be sanded, stained to a close colour match of the finished floor, then have a final protective lacquer added. It's 24m of stair nosing (9 * 2.7m) in total with approx 9cm on each length that need finishing (the top and front). The sides and underside don't need finishing. So it's ~2.2m2 in area total. This is already on-site. I've added pics showing their shape. There will then be 16m (6 * 2.7m) of unfinished end profiles which need to be finished on top (4cm depth). These have been ordered but haven't arrived yet (expected Tuesday) so the job can either be done all at once next week, or in two parts if you're able to start on the nosing this weekend/early next week. Although the wood is awkwardly long, I've assumed that the staining is easier to do pre-installation, rather than having to stain each step one by one and protect the other floor etc. Happy to be guided on what would make this easier to do logistically. I've chosen a stain colour from Ronseal Xactly that seems to be the closest match. I expect 3 coats should be fine. I haven't chosen a lacquer though. Happy to buy whatever is advised. Hi, I have a number of white wooden windows (inside only), door frames and skirting that I need painted. Undercoat and then satin wood (windows) or eggshell (doors) finish. May need some light sanding in places or filling. However, the wood is in generally good shape. I suspect there’s two to three full days work for one man. I’d normally paint it myself but can’t get time to do it and would like it done before the end of the month. I’m only looking for experienced painters who know what they are doing. I’ll supply paint and brushes and anything else that you would like to have available (just let me know). Example, filler, scrapper, white spirit, etc. I used to be a professional painter (many years ago) so if you don’t know what you’re at, I’ll know fairly quickly - so please don’t waste both our times.
