Remove everything outside my door (I can’t attach pictures) it’s not a lot of stuff but quite heavy, especially the sink, more of a two person job which is why I’m paying double than the market price. Take lift to first floor and put it all next to the bins at back of building. Try to keep the door open so u don’t need to be buzzed into the building every time. But if u can’t I told my flatmate to keep letting u in. I’m not going to be there and she will be out shortly after the morning is over so ideally u come Saturday morning. We have 1 desk, 1 tv, 1 microwave, around 15 large boxes, a few suitcases and other small items (no beds or larger furniture). No heavy lifting is required (we can do this ourselves).

Move sofa from 2nd floor balcony on ropes

I moved from a 2nd floor flat in Battersea and one half of my L-shaped sofa wouldn’t get down the stairs, so needs to go over the balcony. The problem is that the building is an odd shape where the first floor juts out further than the second floor, so it’s not straight down over the balcony - it has to go out and down to clear the balcony below. Have attached photos and videos. The address is 8 Groveside Court, 4 Lombard Road, London, SW11 3RQ. Would this be something you can do? The removal company have said if someone can get it over, then they will load on a truck and transport to the new address. The sofa originally went into the flat over the same balcony on ropes by Barker & Stonehouse, which I think they levered over the third floor balcony, but for whatever reason (I’m not sure of the competence of this removal crew), they just said no and didn’t even try. Trying to find a solution asap!
