I am moving from London (E14) to Grantham (NG31) and i need someone with a big van to help with this move. The items i am moving with are as follows; - 1 large mirror, - 1 55 inch tv, - 1 office desk and chair - 1 couch (massage chair), - 1 foldable garden chair, - 12 boxes with clothes, shoes and boxes, - 3 suitcases, - 3 live plants, and - other small miscellaneous items. On the day of the move I will try to take everything downstairs before you arrive with the van, and i can load the items myself. Wouldn’t mind some help though. Once in Grantham, I will need to collect the keys from the estate agency and i would appreciate if you could wait for me for a few minutes while i do this. At the drop off location, i will unload the items and put them on the first floor. Harry helped me move houses on very short notice. He came on time and had all the equipment and tools to make the process smooth. Although the journey was a couple of hours long, Harry was good company so it was a smooth and fun drive all the way. He also assisted in loading and unloading my items which was great. Hey there - I need someone to help me shift boxes and 1 bed mattress from one area in London to another (E149YF to SE16EG). I am moving houses so if you can help with a van then please contact me and thank you :)
My experience was not as expected and I am disappointed. The communication wasn’t great as I had chased for days. We agree to 4:45pm. I accommodated to his time but he arrived at 5:30pm. He called me a few hours before to say there was congestion charge which would be £30 extra, however when I checked online there was no congestion charge. When i debated the £30, he was rude. Had I not checked, he would’ve charged me an extra £30. When arrived, he didn’t want to assist moving items from my bedroom to the van. One more thing I’d like to point out is he wouldn’t leave till I paid. I was always going to pay but I was doing a full house move so needed to just get my stuff up and then pay but kept texting me putting pressure. On the flip side, he did help me bring my mattress up so I am grateful for that. Helped load and unload the van. I felt stressed and uncomfortable. The task was carried out, that’s no doubt but I would never use him again.
