Hi all, we need someone (ideally, an experienced plasterer/renderer) To do some rendering (with plastering sand and cememt) in a small airing cupboard room in our house. The room measures 75cm wide by 230cm long by 260cm tall/high. It will need rendering on the 2 main walls and small narrow back wall as seen in the photos (new brick wall to be left as is). the issue is the rendering on the out side walls. As it was done over a damp corse. The rain water drain at the front of the house has gaps exposing the foundations.

We have a wall that suffers with damp in our bedroom - we have had a specialist assess the situation and this is what they recommend needs to happen: Mark out the defective area then add 200mm to that size. Strip the area back to the brickwork and meticulously clean the bricks and mortar joints of contaminates. Make a render mix of washed plastering sand and ordinary cement in a ratio of 3:1 with a generic mortar waterproofing additive. Skim to finish but the skim coat must not exceed 2.0mm in thickness.

Small rendering job to make the small walls of my garden beds look better. I’ve done about half, but I’m a bit useless!:) Fill cracks in old render and replace all in 1-2 areas. I will paint after, so doesn’t have to look totally perfect. I have sand and cement and/or pre mixed render kits, whatever you prefer. I am a busy Airtasker myself in Australia and I am looking forward to giving a London based Airtasker some of my maintenance jobs as I get my family home ready for sale.

Strip back 3mx2m roughcast external garden wall and render it

The external render seems to have a hairline crack. This needs to be filled up. If there's any other cracks those need to be filled up too. I can't see any. I can only see one..but somehow the wall inside a lot of condensation and fungus in the winter. The back of the house also has one or two cracks that need filling up.
