What do roofing services include?

Roofing services are about more than just putting new roofs on houses. Roofing contractors can repair a small section of your roof, restore the whole thing, or even fix your gutters and drain pipes. They can also check for any problems which may cause costly repairs down the track. They are highly trained and experienced professionals working at heights.

Here are some specific inclusions and services you can request when booking a roofer in your area:

Roof installation

Whether it’s a roof on a new home or a replacement roof on your existing home, a roofer can make sure your home is dry and weatherproof with a roof installation service. They’ll find out your preferred colour and order the roofing materials, such as tiles or colorbond steel, needed to complete your roof. They can also organise whirlybird installation to finish it off. Roofers can also offer commercial roofing for establishments.

Roof restoration and cleaning

Whether you need a general clean or a full restoration and reseal, you can find a contractor who specialises in roofing restoration. Your roofer will inspect your roof, identify any concerns, and propose an action plan to have your roof looking as good as new. They may use high-pressure hoses for built-up dirt and grime, taking care not to damage the roof. Sometimes, you may just need a coat of paint and resealing to extend the life of your roof.

Roof repairs

All roof repairs start with a safety assessment, along with equipment installed around the roof to ensure workers are safe. Workers will also wear harnesses to prevent falls. Your roofing contractor will assess any damage and provide a quote for repairs. Roof repairs may be simple or complex and can include roof tile repair or replacement, rust repair, or replacing sealant or fasteners. Roof damage should be part of your regular home maintenance and fixed quickly before it leads to leaking, water damage, and mould.

Gutter installation and repairs

An effective water diversion system (gutters and drain pipes) is important for several reasons, but especially for the long-term maintenance of your roof. If your gutters are full, rusty, damaged, or leaking, they won’t work and could cause future issues. Your contractor can help with gutter installation, gutter guard installation, and downpipe installation, along with gutter cleaning to keep everything in good working order.

Solar panel installation & repair

Need solar panels installed on your roof? Find good local roofers who can source the right parts, based on your energy requirements. They’ll check the optimal angle and direction to capture sunlight, before securely fixing the panels in place and connecting them to your system. Solar panels rarely have major problems or require extensive repairs, however, regular solar panel cleaning will help keep everything running efficiently. Your technician will also check the wiring and mountings for potential deterioration and may even test them to ensure everything is running well.

Hi, We’ve got old white wooden Juliette balcony doors that need replacing. The measurements are 117cm wide x 190 cm tall. We’re open to a more durable uPVC replacement. We’re relatively price conscious, but not at the expense of quality. They’re also being damaged by a slightly leaky roof. We’re looking to get this fixed too. Let me know if you can address both of these issues. Please provide a quote for changing the Juliet balcony doors and confirm you can also fix roofing problems. We can arrange a quote for the roof after initial inspection. If you become a trusted contact, we have future windows and back door that need replacing too
