I need to replace my current battery powered smoke alarms with mains powered ones. 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the corridor downstairs and 1 in the corridor upstairs. It's a new build with no floor boards and so I'm assuming cabling would need to be discreetly fed around the edges and corners of walls perhaps?
