Smoke alarm is battery and mains powered, need the battery either replaced or the whole unit changed as its beeping. Its jammed and wont come off.

I’d like to install and test smoke alarms(battery operated) for bedrooms , living rooms and kitchen.

1) Fix a leaky bathroom tap 2) Repair a hole in the ceiling where the smoke alarm was fitted and has since dropped. We would like to refit the smoke alarm into this space.

I need to replace my current battery powered smoke alarms with mains powered ones. 1 in the kitchen, 1 in the corridor downstairs and 1 in the corridor upstairs. It's a new build with no floor boards and so I'm assuming cabling would need to be discreetly fed around the edges and corners of walls perhaps?
